On-line Talk 'Scottish Wildlife' by Jeremy Malley-Smith LRPS DPAGB BPE2* @ On Line

As part of our programme of events over the summer we are delighted to welcome Jeremy Malley-Smith LRPS DPAGB BPE2* who will present his talk on ‘Scottish Wildlife’ on-line via Zoom.

This event is open to all and free of charge.

Jeremy became interested in wildlife as a teenager whilst watching David Attenborough’s wildlife programmes and I fell in love with photography following a holiday to The Gambia in the early 90s photographing weaver birds, mudskippers & mammals. He became an active member of my nearest camera club (Wigan Photographic Society) and enjoyed much success winning awards in the club along with several national and international awards for various images. In 2013, He joined Blackburn Camera Club and now live in Blackburn with my long-term partner. More recently, Jeremy has now joined the prestigious and very successful Wigan 10 Foto-Club.

Jeremy runs tours and workshops scaling from 1-to-1 up to 12 clients to locations such as Farne Isles, Glencoe, Krakow, Lake District, Loch Ness, Marrakesh, Moidart, Mull, Northumberland, Risley Moss, Sherwood Forest and Skomer.

His favourite subjects are wildlife, crazy macro and landscapes though he is happy photographing anything that moves and anything that doesn’t!

Jeremy will talk about his outstanding images of Scottish wildlife and the stories behind them.

All FDPS members will receive details in our Newsletter of how to watch Jeremy’s presentation, and will receive a reminder on the day of the meeting. Please do not pass these details to any non-members.
