The annual L&CPU Novice Cup will take place Sunday 10th October 2021, Elmbank Conference Centre Eccles. This event is designed to promote competitions and distinctions to club members who may not generally get involved in the Federation annual club competition or club knockout competition.

Entry to the event must be via the club Competition Secretary using images from club members who currently do not have any photographic qualifications or accreditations. Images cannot have been used in any L&CPU competition or received an award in a national or international ompetition.

The Novice Cup is an un-mounted ‘A4’ print competition, and is in two sections:

• Open Colour
• Open Monochrome

Online submission via the L&CPU Portal

• Opens – Sunday 29 August 2021
• Closes – Sunday 3 October 2021
• Each club can enter 6 images from 6 different authors in each section
• Authors can enter more than one section
• Awards will be given for the highest scoring club and individual images
