COVID-19 and our meetings in 2021 Update 26/09/20

In the light of the ongoing pandemic and the Government’s latest statements, your Committee has decided to continue meeting online for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.

We had originally hoped to return to the Arts Centre in January, but we changed plans now to give sufficient time to obtain speakers and judges willing to work online and to plan suitable online members’ evenings.

This means there will be no print competitions this season, only PDIs. However, we will try to organise some safe face-to-face club activities, possibly in small groups, when it’s safe to do so. If anyone has any ideas for such activities, please get in touch.

Hopefully we will be able to return to Castle Park Arts Centre in September 2021 and meet again regularly in person.

The Society was established in 1965 for those with an interest, hobby or occupation in photography in Frodsham and the surrounding district.

Our Aims are to promote local interest in photography through regular meetings providing education, recreation and competition and to use our skills in the support of our local communities.

We are a friendly group. If you have an interest in photography at any level and would enjoy sharing ideas and experiences with like-minded people then please come along to one of the meetings. You will be made most welcome whatever your level of expertise and your first visit is free.

If you think you might join details are here.
