COVID-19 and our meetings for the 2021/22 Season Updated December 2021

Although the epidemic lockdowns have eased and all social contact limits have been removed, the situation remains somewhat uncertain. Programme planning has to be settled well in advance in order to book speakers and judges.

Consequently, whilst we would love to be able to return to face to face meetings, your Committee has decided to continue running the club generally on line via Zoom until the end of the year.

However, to give us a better understanding of the situation, We decided to have two meetings on site at Castle Park as a trial. On Monday 22nd we held a combined social and presentation evening open to all members and potential members, this was generally a success although fewer members attended than expected.

In the light of this and the uncertainties around the new Covid variant we will run our traditional Christmas meeting on Monday 20th December as a Zoom Quiz before returning as planned from January.

The Society was established in 1965 for those with an interest, hobby or occupation in photography in Frodsham and the surrounding district.

Our Aims are to promote local interest in photography through regular meetings providing education, recreation and competition and to use our skills in the support of our local communities.

We are a friendly group. If you have an interest in photography at any level and would enjoy sharing ideas and experiences with like-minded people then please come along to one of the meetings. You will be made most welcome whatever your level of expertise and your first visit is free.

If you think you might join details are here.
