The Marsden Cup competition is an inter-club competition which we enter each year (and have won in the past). It has an unusual format where you have to declare a theme, in our case ‘Minimalism’ and get a score out of 10 for that. Each of the 6 images entered also gets scored out of 10 and the image and theme scores added together decide the winner. As with all competitions there is an element of chance and this year our theme scored 8/10 which got us off to a poor start. As you can see from the results below we didn’t really recover from this despite a 10 for Roy Bowden’s image … still there’s always next year.
