The fourth competition of the season. This is a PDI-only competition (i.e. no print section).

The theme is “Minimalist” and we have decided this season to give a steer on what is intended so that you can more easily judge whether your entries are acceptable or within scope for this theme.

For “Minimilist”, images must showcase simplicity by using a limited number of visual elements in the frame and also demonstrate a clean composition. Focus on space, form, negative space, a strong subject and subtle detail. Images should create impact through restraint, drawing attention to form, colour, or texture without distraction.

The judge for this competition is Susie Freeman.
