Exploring the Abstract @ Castle Park Arts Centre

Ian Stanley CPAGB and Andrew Williams LRPS will take you on a journey exploring Abstract photography. The aim is to lay the ghost of previous competitions and explore a fascinating area of photography without having to impress a judge. We-re hoping for a lively discussion!

We will be discussing what makes an abstract images (and what doesn’t), different kinds of abstract and we will be using some of our own images and those of others to promote discussion.

If you have some abstract images we would like to add these to our slideshow, no judging or critiques, just for fun!

About Andrew Williams

I've been taking pictures since my first camera at around 10 years old but only more seriously in the last few years. After a career in engineering and IT I spent some time as a professional photographer, mainly commercial work, writing for magazines, selling prints and teaching Photoshop & Lightroom. Now retired and taking pictures for fun!
