Photo North Festival, run by Sharon Price, Peter Dench and friends, is back for its third year, at Bonded Warehouse, Manchester, 7,8,9 May. Building on the success of previous years, this unique photography event is aimed at the professional photographer, art-enthusiast, keen amateur and students. The festival brings together a sensational display of exhibitions, talks, walks, workshops and portfolio reviews from highly respected and emerging artists.

The Photo North small team create a lively festival where everyone feels welcome and engaged and leaves feeling nourished and inspired. There’s lots to enjoy with a programme of music, food and a licensed bar. Visitors can browse the exhibitions, attend the talks and screenings, book stalls or just relax with friends or make new ones.

Monday 9th May is our Education Day with participation and presence from education organisations and students from across the UK.

Photo North 2019 welcomed over 850 visitors, to witness 18 exhibitions consisting of over 180 photographs. Over 16 talks were delivered along with three film screenings, which created lively debate. Students were tasked to curate one of the exhibitions and benefited from free portfolio reviews from industry experts. Money was raised for several charities.
