The Great Northern Festival is a National Audio Visual event with PAGB patronage organised by one of our member clubs, the Great Northern AV Group. 
It is taking place at the Hough End Conference Centre in Chorlton, South Manchester from the 1st to 3rd December.

On the Friday evening, there is an illustrated talk by Liam Sanderson showing some of the films made by himself and the pupils of the Wales School in Sheffield.  A night not to be missed.

The Great Northern and New Horizons competitions take place over the Saturday and Sunday. The latter competition is to encourage newcomers and is only open to those who have not won a National or International AV award.

We have received a record 61 entries into the competitions – come along to enjoy seeing them and watching the judging taking place.
