Mark is primarily an outdoor photographer and only ever works with available light.  He am happiest photographing in our wilder places; in the mountains, on the coast and by lakes and rivers.
 
Many of his photographs portray scenes in which the content has been made impressionistic or semi-abstract by means of one or more camera techniques.  These techniques include intentionally moving the camera while the shutter is open, creating double exposures and using improvised diffusers in front of the lens. 

In common with many other photographers, Mark also enjoy looking for simple images; those featuring just a few lines, shapes, colours or textures, and this enjoyment is also reflected in the images featured here on my website.
