Originally scheduled as an “Artificial Intelligence” evening but, as Ian will be away this week, we will be changing the topic for this meeting.

For this evening we will be covering a range of topics and I hope there will be something of interest for all.

We will start with Ann Gardiner Ann who will give a presentation on “Making an Exploding Book” and bring some examples of her work.

After that Andrew will give a short presentation on the making of photographic postcards. This is in preparation for our Zoom based postcard showcase event on Monday 27th November.
I will be using Photoshop but the techniques involved can be easily performed in other software. There will be some printed examples to give you some ideas.

We will have our usual tea/coffee break so don’t forget your £1.

As we are reintroducing print entries to all our competitions this season there will be an introduction to print mounting with time for questions. 
We’ll talk about different styles of mount, cutting your own mounts or buying them pre cut etc. and I’ll bring along the tools you may need.

Maggie will be giving a presentation about processing wildlife images in Lightroom on the 20th November and as a lead in to that I will give a short introduction to the Library capabilities in Lightroom.

Finally there will be news about and the chance for a discussion about our project leading up to an exhibition at the Catalyst Museum next summer.
